Ingredients: guarana seed extract (Paullinia cupana) [22% caffeine] (38%), anhydrous caffeine (25%), maltodextrin, capsule shell (glazing agent - hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), anti-caking agent (magnesium salts of fatty acids).
The product may contain: milk, soy, cereals containing gluten, eggs, fish, peanuts and tree nuts.
DESCRIPTION OF INGREDIENTS OF ESSENSEY GUARANA AND CAFFEINE:
- Guarana (Paullinia cupana) is a plant from the Amazon forest. It grows as a woody vine that can reach up to 10 m in length. It has characteristic red fruits that open partially when ripe, revealing up to three black seeds covered in the lower half with a thick white coating. The seeds contain valuable properties that are often used in products such as dietary supplements1.
- Guarana seeds. Guarana has the highest concentration of caffeine (over 6% in the seed part) observed so far in nature1.
- Caffeine absorption. Caffeine is quickly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, reaching its maximum concentration in the blood 30–120 minutes after consumption, depending on the individual conditions of the body and the presence of food in the stomach3. Together with the blood, caffeine is distributed to all body tissues in the body2.
