DESCRIPTION OF INGREDIENTS OF ESSENSEY OMEGA 3:
- Omega 3 fatty acids. Omega 3 are polyunsaturated fatty acids that should be included in everyone's daily diet. Acids from fish are highly bioavailable. Omega-3 fats are the basic building blocks of cell membranes.
- DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). Test results have shown that docosahexaenoic acid stimulates the growth of nerve cells. It is also the basic building block of the cell membranes of cones and rods in the retina, which are responsible for colour and night vision. (2,3)
- EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid). Eicosapentaenoic acid occurs in brain cells. It is believed to play an important role in supporting the functioning of the heart and brain. There are many indications that omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids may be useful in chronic inflammation, as well as in preventing their occurrence.(4)
- The demand increases with age. Please remember that the need for omega 3 fatty acids increases with age. Adults and older people should pay special attention to the supplementation of polyunsaturated fatty acids. They will be responsible for the good and long-term proper functioning of our mind and body. (4) Dietary supplements should complement a properly balanced diet, which may be a source of omega acids.
