DESCRIPTION OF INGREDIENTS OF ESSENSEY MULTIVIT FOR HIM:

  • Vitamin B1, also known as thiamine. This is the first vitamin discovered, isolated from rice bran in 1912 by the Polish biochemist Kazimierz Funk3. It performs many functions in the human body - it helps in the proper functioning of the heart and nervous system, supports energy metabolism and proper psychological functions1.
  • Vitamin B2, also called riboflavin. It was first isolated in 1933 from yeast, egg white and milk whey3. Rich dietary sources of riboflavin are eggs, dairy products, mushrooms, parsley, wheat and beef3. Riboflavin helps reduce the feeling of tiredness and fatigue, supports proper vision and helps protect cells against oxidative stress1.
  • Vitamin B3, also known as vitamin PP and niacin. Good dietary sources of niacin are peanuts, peppers, veal, rabbit meat and fish3. Niacin supports the functioning of the nervous system and helps reduce fatigue and tiredness1.
  • Vitamin B5, also known as pantothenic acid. Vitamin B5 was isolated in 1931 during research on factors causing yeast growth3. Pantothenic acid supports energy metabolism and mental performance and may contribute to reducing the feeling of fatigue and weariness1.
  • Vitamin B6, commonly called pyridoxine, is a vitamin that takes part in over 150 biochemical reactions in the human body4. Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity, helps maintain proper psychological functions, supports the immune system and the proper production of red blood cells1.
  • Folic acid (also known as vitamin B9) and its derivatives belong to the folate group. These compounds are characterized by similar biological activity, but folic acid is the most stable and best absorbable compound from this group5. Folic acid helps reduce the feeling of fatigue and supports the proper functioning of the immune system1.
  • Vitamin B12, commonly referred to as cobalamin. Products rich in vitamin B12 include ruminant meat, fish, poultry, crustaceans, eggs, milk, offal and cheese6. Vitamin B12 helps reduce the feeling of fatigue and weariness, supports proper energy metabolism and helps in the functioning of the immune system1.
  • Biotin, also commonly known as vitamin B7 or H. It is found in numerous food products, e.g. fish, egg yolks, leafy vegetables, tomatoes, almonds and cheese7. Biotin supports the functioning of the nervous system, supports the proper metabolism of macronutrients and contributes to maintaining the proper condition of the skin and hair1.
  • Vitamin C is also called ascorbic acid and is a water-soluble vitamin. It has multidirectional, positive effects on the human body8. Vitamin C supports the functioning of the nervous system, helps reduce fatigue and tiredness, and also supports the immune system1.
  • Vitamin E is an antioxidant - it helps protect cells against oxidative stress1. It is a fat-soluble vitamin and occurs naturally in fish, vegetable oils, wheat germ, seeds and whole grain products9.
  • Vitamin A is also a fat-soluble vitamin. Occurs, among others: in fatty fish, liver, eggs and dairy products. Its precursors are carotenoids, which occur in fruits and vegetables10. Vitamin A supports vision, proper iron metabolism, and the functioning of the immune system1.
  • Vitamin D occurs as vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) and D3 (cholecalciferol). Vitamin D2 is found mainly in products of plant origin, and D3 of animal origin - fish oils, fatty sea fish, eggs and liver. It can also be synthesized in the skin during exposure to sunlight11. Vitamin D supports the immune system and contributes to the proper functioning of muscles, teeth and bones1.
  • L-arginine is a basic amino acid classified as relatively exogenous, i.e. those that can be produced in the body of a healthy adult in an amount that meets the daily requirement. It is also found in food, including: in seafood, seeds, nuts, algae and meat13,14.
  • Maca root extract. Maca root comes from South America and contains numerous vitamins, minerals and plant sterols17. Maca supports fertility and potency2. It helps maintain natural sexual activity and supports sexual desire. Additionally, it helps maintain optimal vitality and endurance2.
  • DAA, or D-Aspartic Acid, is an endogenous amino acid that is synthesized and metabolized in the human body.[16] D-Aspartic acid takes part in many biochemical processes, including the role of a neurotransmitter16.
  • Taurine is an organic compound classified as sulfur amino acids. It does not form bonds with other amino acids, therefore it occurs in the body mainly in the free state15. It is synthesized from another amino acid - cysteine. It is an endogenous compound, but in some physiological conditions its synthesis in the body may be insufficient, therefore it is necessary to provide taurine with the diet15. In food, it is found mainly in animal products: meat, fish and seafood15.
  • Magnesium is one of the most important ions needed for the proper functioning of the human body. It is a component of chlorophyll, which is why it is found in large amounts in green vegetables, but it can also be found in legumes, cereals and nuts12. Magnesium supports electrolyte balance, helps maintain healthy muscles, bones and teeth, and helps reduce fatigue1.
  • Zinc supports the immune system and helps maintain healthy bones, skin, hair and nails1. Additionally, it supports eyesight, fertility and proper reproductive functions, as well as maintaining proper testosterone levels in the blood1.
